This Renewables Integration Team Call focused on utility rate structures and opportunities to incentivize demand management and load flexibility strategies. We welcomed guest speakers Chris Perry from ACEEE and Candice Tsay from ConEd to talk about general findings on utility program design to encourage demand management and load flexibility, and to provide a deep dive into ConEd’s smart home demonstration program. The webinar discussed obstacles and successes that both utilities and building owners face in implementing solutions to achieve more grid-interactive efficient buildings.
