Using Commercial PACE Financing to Improve Efficiency and Resiliency in Buildings

Commercial property assessed clean energy (CPACE) financing can be used to fund resiliency improvements that make buildings more resistant to natural disasters and other threats. Many of these projects have an energy component (e.g. energy efficiency, distributed generation, microgrid), but others do not (e.g. seismic retrofits). This webinar explored the current trend toward CPACE financing for resiliency and discusses how you can take advantage of this rapidly growing financing mechanism. Hear from three leading Financial Allies who recently completed successful resiliency projects using CPACE—including wind-hardening in Florida, microgrid and distributed generation in Connecticut, and a $40M seismic and energy efficiency retrofit in California. Additionally, learn about the recently launched Better Buildings CPACE Financing for Resiliency Toolkit, a one-stop shop for case studies and information on this topic.

Speakers: Will Clark, CleanFund; Michele Pitale, Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate; and Andrew Zech, Greenworks Lending.
