Unsealed: The Building Envelope Campaign

DOE’s Building Envelope Campaign team from Oak Ridge National Lab introduced the new Building Envelope Assessment Tool, which will be used to quantify the savings achieved by Campaign participants. The workshop also delved into the Building Envelope Thermal Performance (BTP) metric. With the help of real-world buildings owned or managed by early adopters of the campaign, we explored energy efficiency strategies for success based on four major building envelope contributors: walls, windows, roofs, and airtightness. Workshop facilitated by Oak Ridge National Lab.

Speakers: Jessica Abralind, Arlington County Department of Environmental Services; Hayley McLeod, Oak Ridge National Lab; Dr. Simon Pallin, Oak Ridge National Lab
