The Lighting and Electrical Technology Research Team’s webinar focused on the Integrated Lighting Campaign, early results from field-validations, and progress on the IoT-Upgradeable Lighting Challenge. Discussions included some of the aspects and opportunities/benefits of integrating lighting systems and future-proofing buildings through lighting investments (i.e., upgradeable luminaires). Plug and Process Load Technology Research Team lead, Dr. Kim Trenbath, gave a primer on plug loads and highlighted best practices for integrating plug loads and lighting.
