Rocky Mountain Institute described their collaboration with Better Buildings Alliance member McDonalds and other partners in determining the feasibility of zero energy quick serve restaurants. The National Institute for Building Sciences (NIBS) provided an update on recent efforts to develop an industry definition for zero energy buildings.
