The Plug and Process Load Technology Research Team provided updates on current and upcoming PPL Team research efforts followed by two technical presentations, each on different measures for plug load savings. Amanda Farthing (University of Michigan) discussed the recently published study, Energy savings and usability of zero-client computing in office settings, and Jennifer Amann (American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy) highlighted energy savings from Set Top Box (STB) and small network equipment voluntary agreements (VA).
