Video: Hydrofluorocarbon Phase Down: What to Expect Over the Next 15 Years

Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) are strong greenhouse gases used in many applications, including refrigeration and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is requiring a phasedown of HFCs under the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act of 2020: an 85% reduction in HFC production and consumption is required over the next 15 years. In addition, several states have implemented or are considering implementing further HFC regulations. What will this mean for building owners and facility managers, and what alternatives are available for equipment utilizing these gases? This webinar explains the phase down and describe steps you can take to prepare for the transition.
