Managing Buildings During a Shutdown and Bringing Them Back Online

In many situations, such as the ones driven by current events, many buildings become unoccupied: offices, hotels, schools, universities, retail stores, restaurants, etc. As buildings are no longer occupied, questions about which services are still needed and which can be reduced need to be addressed. In this presentation the speakers discussed their experiences with different types of buildings in different scenarios. Climate considerations and building use were discussed. Steps of reoccupying buildings are also important and were addressed.
