The Better Buildings & Better Plants Initiative Waste Reduction Network brings organizations together to discuss and demonstrate successful approaches to reduce municipal and industrial solid waste in plants and non-industrial buildings. The Network develops useful and engaging resources to help partners achieve their waste reduction goals. Outcomes of the Waste Reduction Network will include demonstration of the waste-energy nexus, additional opportunities for recognition/brand enhancement, and continuation of ongoing DOE efforts in waste management.
