Tip of the Month - December 2024

Manufacturing scrap is a term used for denoting in-process raw material waste. Many manufacturers accept scrap as an unavoidable part of the manufacturing. Scrap is created in all the phases of a manufacturing process and represents varying value of wasted materials along with other resources.

This Tip of the Month was developed by the Waste Reduction Network and shared in the Network's December 2024 Newsletter.
