Combined Heat and Power Technology Fact Sheet: Gas Turbines

This fact sheet provides an overview of gas turbine technology. Gas turbines, also called combustion turbines, produce large volumes of high-temperature waste heat, which can be used in CHP applications, especially sites that require steam. Gas turbines are available from several manufacturers and can be operated on a wide range of fuels, including natural gas and hydrogen.
