Case Study: 3M Leverages SEP Enterprise-wide Approach

The 3M Company, a multinational Fortune 100 manufacturer, achieved significant energy and cost savings by simultaneously certifying multiple sites to Superior Energy Performance (SEP) under the Better Buildings & Better Plants initiative. The six sites improved their energy performance by an average of 7.3 percent and now collectively save the company 636 billion Btu in primary energy and $3.6 million in energy costs annually.
