Sika Corporation, headquartered in Lyndhurst, NJ, is a specialty chemicals company. They develop and produce systems and solutions for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protecting the construction, residential & home improvement, oil & gas pipeline and the transportation, marine, and automotive manufacturing industries. Sika's product technologies include concrete admixtures & fibers, mortars, epoxies, urethanes, structural strengthening systems, industrial flooring, PVC and liquid applied membrane roofing systems, thermal insulation, plaster, and stucco, below-grade waterproofing, and acoustical & reinforcing materials.

As of 2021, Sika Corporation has 30 Manufacturing Plants and 9 Warehouses. The company has completed many decarbonization projects that include switching to LED lights, upgrading to electric forklifts, and finding and fixing compressed air leaks. Sika has also completed two major energy reduction studies at their larger facilities with plans to complete additional studies at their smaller facilities, in partnership with DOE.

Sika plans to implement onsite renewable energy projects, take a systems approach to recover energy and reduce production energy requirements, and reevaluate their products and packaging to reduce waste and emissions from raw material sourcing.
