Since then, Siemens has deepened their commitment by announcing that they will become net zero across its global operations by 2030 and aim to achieve an emission-free supply chain by the year 2050.

Siemens' targets: Net-zero business operations by 2030 and CO2-neutral supply chain by 2050
Siemens' path: Continuous reduction of emissions from business operations, collaboration with suppliers, and a portfolio that helps their customers protect the environment.
In addition to the Better Climate Challenge, Siemens has committed to the Science Based Targets Initiative, pledging to reduce emissions from its own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 50% by the year 2030 and its Scope 3 emissions (upstream and downstream) by 15% compared to 2019.
