The Sherwin-Williams Company achieved their initial energy intensity reduction goal in 2016, and has since repledged as a Challenge partner with a second energy intensity reduction goal.

Sherwin-Williams received a 2023 Better Practice Award for initiating a Sustainability Challenge for new hire employees in its Accelerated Development Program, who identified more than $100,000 in savings opportunity by reducing energy and water use, and decreasing waste sent to landfills.
