Room & Board Home Furnishings

Room & Board is an independent, privately held retailer of modern furniture and home décor. More than 90% of their products are made by American craftspeople. Founded and based in Minneapolis, MN, the company has more than 20 stores across the United States.

Room & Board plans to achieve its 100% renewable energy target by implementing onsite solar where it makes sense, procuring RE directly from utilities where available, and using unbundled RECs as a last resort. Achieving this goal is projected to get Room & Board most of the way to its 50% GHG reduction goal, but the company also plans to electrify heat where appropriate, as well as shift to an EV delivery fleet over time.
