New Jersey Natural Gas launched The SAVEGREEN Project® in September 2009 in support of its ongoing effort to provide customers with money-saving incentives to make smart energy choices for their homes and businesses. Complementing New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program™, SAVEGREEN offers rebates and incentives to residential customers who install qualifying, high-efficiency equipment and want to make whole-house upgrades through the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program (HPwES). Up to $15,000 in financing is available, including 0% APR On-Bill Repayment Program option to help make energy efficiency upgrades more affordable. If customers make equipment upgrades outside of the HPwES program, The SAVEGREEN Project offers rebates and incentives following a no-cost energy assessment. All assessments include the Home Energy Score which is used to encourage customers to make additional whole-house improvements.
