Loews Hotels & Co. has been welcoming guests for over six decades. Today, Loews' distinctive properties continue to offer guests the room they need, and the ultimate in upscale travel experiences, in key urban and resort destinations throughout the United States and Canada. With headquarters located in New York, Loews Hotels has grown to include major destinations that cater to the business, leisure, and family traveler.

Loews Hotels is in the business of hospitality, but also believes that doing the right thing is everyone’s business. That philosophy has led Loews to developing variety of programs and initiatives that are focused on everything from safeguarding the planet to being a positive force in the community to fostering a more inclusive world. 

As part of those initiatives, Loews Hotels fully embraces its responsibility as an environmental steward and believes in developing sustainable practices as a leader in the industry. Loews Hotels is thoroughly committed to reducing its environmental impact by actively participating in standards that are in harmony with the earth’s natural resources and direction through its partnership with the Better Buildings Challenge, ENERGY STAR, the Green Meetings Industry Council, and other green initiatives.

Some of the standard energy and water management practices that Loews Hotels has in place include a linen/terry reuse policy, low-flow shower heads, compact fluorescent light bulbs in hotels, green training for employees, and green teams at all hotels. Loews Hotels continues to find more opportunities to improve energy and water efficiency across its portfolio of hotels through energy and water audits, employee recognition programs such as the Gold Wrench, building commissioning, and more.
