As a Better Buildings Challenge Partner, LBA will continue to strengthen our sustainability strategy throughout our portfolio. Annually, each property team will continue to prepare and implement sustainability action plans for each asset which includes a property overview, property operating components, a performance assessment, plans to improve performance and goals. Additionally, these plans include specific objectives around energy efficiency and sustainability, tenant engagement, and energy retrofits where appropriate. We will continue to provide training, templates and processes for sharing best practices to our property teams, engineers and all stakeholders to further optimize sustainability performance wherever possible. LBA will continue to use both LEED and ENERGY STAR® as operating frameworks for implementing sustainability and operating best practices, including seeking third party validation of performance and certification where appropriate. Through these measures, LBA is confident that they will achieve their commitment to the Better Buildings Challenge.
