Flexsys

Flexsys produces critical specialty chemicals for the tire industry and develops, manufactures, and sells insoluble sulfur, anti-degradants, and post-vulcanization stabilizers. Flexsys operates six manufacturing sites and two R&D labs. Flexsys is committed to setting a Near-Term reduction target with the Science Based Targets Initiative. Through the Better Climate Challenge, Flexsys has committed to reducing Scope 1 & 2 emissions at its US sites by 25% in 10 years (vs 2022) and reducing energy intensity by 10% over that same period. Flexsys anticipates their work with the Better Climate Challenge will help accelerate progress on its SBTi goals and connect it with others in the industry that are also looking to solve the process heat problem in decarbonization.
