While the organization does not currently have a firm public efficiency goal, eBay continues to focus on driving energy efficiency and carbon reduction in its operational conduct. The strategy is threefold:
1. Strive for radical efficiency in facilities and processes, including the development of innovative new metrics that provide insight to better inform action
2. Generate on-site clean energy when and where it is appropriate
3. Procure additional clean energy from off-site sources
