In 2021, DaVita had two goals verified by the Science Based Target Initiative, addressing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. DaVita has committed to a goal of reaching a 50% reduction of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions across their 23,861,768-square-foot portfolio by 2030 from a 2018 baseline. DaVita has also committed to a goal of having vendors representing 70% of Scope 3 emissions set their own Science Based Targets by 2025.
