Csquare

Csquare is a multi-tenant data center provider with 80 data centers in 30 major markets and a host of on-prem, hybrid, and on-demand solutions. Csquare joined the Better Buildings Challenge in 2023, with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy. The company has set goals to achieve 100% carbon-free energy by 2030, 100% renewable energy by 2040, and net zero emissions by 2040.

Data centers are energy-intensive spaces, and Csquare is committed to ESG across its portfolio. Environmental initiatives related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water, and waste are the foundation of the “E” in Csquare’s ESG strategy to improve its portfolio. As cooling is one of the largest loads for a data center, Csquare is utilizing innovative strategies, such as an AI-based dynamic data center temperature management platform, to cool the data center effectively with less energy. Through partnerships across the organization, Csquare is exploring renewable energy options for new and existing sites.
