Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Founded in 1847 as a mine operator, Cleveland-Cliffs is the largest flat-rolled steel producer and manufacturer of iron ore pellets in North America (NA). Cliffs is vertically integrated from mined raw materials and direct reduced iron to primary steelmaking and downstream finishing, stamping, tooling, and tubing. Cliffs serves a diverse range of markets due to its comprehensive offering of flat-rolled steel products and is the largest supplier of steel to the auto industry in North America.

In late 2020, Cleveland-Cliffs acquired ArcelorMittal USA, a leading steel and mining company that had been a Better Plants partner since 2009.
