Century Partners

Century Partners is a Detroit-based real estate development company with over 200 residential units between Detroit and Ypsilanti, Michigan. 188 of those units split between 9 buildings and the rest of the portfolio is spread across a mix of single-family and two to four-unit properties. In an effort to reduce energy usage at 48 units across four buildings, we were able to bring down water usage 44% from quarter 2 of 2022 to quarter 2 of 2023.

Century Partners is looking to set an example for developers and property management companies across metro Detroit and transition to more energy-efficient strategies and products through our portfolio. This begins with us investigating our current state of usage and products, ensuring that we’re doing what we can to reduce unnecessary energy usage while keeping the integrity of living conditions. We will be working with DTE Energy’s consultation team to analyze our property's energy usage and accept the more energy-efficient products that they provide for free after consultations. To take it a step further, we have already placed a strong emphasis on energy efficiency in future construction phases of our portfolio's largest buildings, a 42 and 35 unit, with renovation to HVAC systems, windows, and insulation. This will be the beginning of our strategy to maximize efficiency across our portfolio.
