Berkshire Residential Investments is a vertically integrated residential real estate investment and property management company with 55 years of experience. Berkshire owns and manages over 110 apartment communities across 16 states and the District of Columbia. BerkshireTHRIVE, Berkshire's ESG program, has goals of 10% reduction in energy, GHG, and water and a 30% waste diversion rate by 2025 over a 2015 baseline. As of December 31, 2023, the Berkshire portfolio has achieved a 7.1% reduction in energy consumption, an 8% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, a 1.2% reduction in water consumption, and a 25.3% waste diversion rate.

Since 2020, Berkshire has completed 31 LED upgrades, two insulation upgrades, and two HVAC and boiler projects, all of which are expected to help Berkshire and its residents save money and reduce environmental impact. Twenty-four properties have secured green electricity for common area electricity consumption, two properties are in the process of installing on-site solar, and one property has operational solar panels. Berkshire, a registered investment advisor, is headquartered in Boston and has offices in Atlanta, Dallas and San Francisco. As of December 31, 2023, Berkshire had approximately $28.1 billion in real estate assets under management.*
