Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA) is the largest public housing agency in Georgia and one of the largest in the nation, serving over 50,000 people. In operation for more than 75 years, AHA celebrated its tenth year operating as a Moving To Work (MTW) agency in 2013. The mission of AHA is to provide quality affordable housing in amenity-rich, mixed-income communities for the betterment of the community. The AHA business model as a diversified real estate company with a public mission and purpose has positioned us to achieve three goals: quality living environments, family self-sufficiency, and economic viability. The ability to adapt to change by cultivating strategic partnerships and developing innovative solutions has made AHA a national leader in the transformation of public housing.
