AdventHealth is a nation-wide health care system that delivers whole-person care. With 50+ hospitals, 95,000+ team members, and hundreds of additional facilities, AdventHealth serves over 8 million patients annually. In October 2022, AdventHealth reinforced its commitment to environmental sustainability and whole-person care when it joined the U.S. HHS Climate Pledge, setting two emissions targets: 50% reduction of Scope 1 & 2 by 2030 and net-zero emissions across all scopes by 2050. AdventHealth is also a proud member and contributor to several other organizations that help decarbonize the health sector, supply chain, and world at large.

AdventHealth pledges to reduce operational emissions by 50% or more in 10-years without the use of offsets, pursue an energy efficiency target, and share the organization-wide GHG reduction plan.
