ABB Inc. received a 2023 Better Project Award for installing a full capture system for Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) emissions at their Pinetops, NC facility, effectively eliminating 99% of these emissions and significantly decreasing Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions and lowering ABB's U.S. carbon footprint by more than 16%.
