DOE is developing fact sheets that cover a range of relevant topics for potential adopters of onsite energy technologies at industrial facilities: current installation trends, a technology discussion, cost and performance information, and environmental and community considerations. The onsite energy technologies include battery storage, combined heat and power (CHP), district energy, fuel cells, geothermal, industrial heat pumps, renewable fuels, solar photovoltaics (PV), solar thermal, thermal storage, waste heat to power (WHP), and wind power.
