CBJ Energy makes it easy for property owners to save money and make their buildings more valuable by adopting energy efficiency and renewable energy, with no upfront costs, through the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE).

WHAT IS C-PACE?

Using C-PACE, building owners can now finance energy improvements via a line item on the property tax bill. All costs, including soft costs, such as project management, quality control, commissioning and more, can be financed. Building owners gain ownership of any and all project outputs so any depreciation, tax benefits, and rebates generated by the project go to the owner.

The resulting reduction in utility costs is typically greater than the increase to the property tax bill – hence an immediate improvement in cash flow with no investment.
