Events

July 8 - 11, 2024 (Register by June 23, 2024): Attend this 3-day in-person 50001 Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems (50001 CP EnMS) classroom training to learn how to help organizations establish and/or maintain an energy management system that conforms to ISO 50001. (This training also prepares professionals who wish to become a credentialed 50001 CP EnMS.) 

July 16 - Aug. 15, 2024 (Register by June 27, 2024): Take the SEP Performance Verifier online training to gain a stronger understanding of SEP 5001, energy, measurement and verification, models and statistics, bottom-up check, auditing skills and more. Energy efficiency professionals who serve on an SEP 50001 certification audit team to verify energy performance improvements attend this training course. (This training also prepares professionals who wish to become a credentialed SEP Performance Verifier.)

Sept. 3 - Oct. 10, 2024 (Register by Aug. 16, 2024): Flexibly fit the 50001 Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems (50001 CP EnMS) virtual training into your schedule and learn how to help organizations establish and/or maintain an energy management system that conforms to ISO 50001. (This training also prepares professionals who wish to become a credentialed 50001 CP EnMS.) 

Dec. 4 - 7, 2024 (Register by Nov. 17, 2024): Take the ISO 50001 Energy Lead Auditor classroom training to expand your expertise. Learn how to audit common elements of management systems, plus this course covers auditing energy performance, an important skill unique to ISO 50001. (This training also prepares professionals who wish to become a credentialed ISO 50001 Lead Auditor.)

Available online anytime: SEP 50001 Specialist Training for 2019: Gain an understanding of the updated SEP 50001 (2019) program in this online ~3-hour course with knowledge checks. This training is required for members of an SEP 50001 audit team, including an organization’s internal SEP Performance Verifier who conducts internal audits for multi-site certification.

Available online anytime: DOE’s 50001 Ready Utility Network Series, a forum for utilities, public benefit administrators (PBAs), third party implementers, consultants, and regulators to interact, share success stories, and learn how to leverage 50001 Ready.
