Additional Case Studies
Lighting Controls Case Studies
In partnership with DOE and participating utilities, the DesignLights Consortium completed several demonstration projects of various networked lighting control technologies. See the results and lessons learned.
TLED Lighting Retrofits with Dedicated Drivers
Pacific Northwest National Lab (PNNL) evaluated two linear LED lighting retrofits compatible with advanced lighting controls and the existing lens and fixture. Results showed energy savings between 27-29%. Part of the GSA Green Proving Ground.
LED Fixtures with Integrated Advanced Lighting Controls
Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL) evaluated new plug-and-play fixtures installed at the Ralph H. Metcalfe Federal Building in Chicago and the Peachtree Summit Federal Building in Atlanta. The fixtures maintained lighting quality, simplified control system setup, and achieved lighting energy savings of 69%. Part of the GSA Green Proving Ground.
