Partnering with DOE through the Better Buildings & Better Plants Initiative enables organizations to lead by example, advance energy savings through collaboration and innovation, and gain trusted, neutral insights into emerging technologies and energy management strategies.
If an organization with a portfolio of buildings or plants prefers not to join the Better Buildings Challenge or the Better Plants Challenge and set a qualifying portfolio-wide goal, they can still join the Better Buildings & Better Plants Initiative to connect with peers and allies across sectors, apply for annual awards, and share solutions that spotlight achievements.
