Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage technology sets can help reduce CO2 emissions from new or existing processes. Carbon can be captured from large stationary sources and transported, compressed, and injected underground (sequestration/storage) into deep underground rock formations. The Better Plants Program works with partners in the industrial sectors to show their success in using carbon capture and storage to substantially reduce their emissions.
