In-Plant Trainings (INPLTS)
In-Plant Trainings (INPLTs) are workshops led by Better Plants experts that train participants on how to identify, implement, and replicate energy-saving projects. Better Plants partners host an on-site, three-day training at one of their facilities, and invite others to attend. Technical expertise gained through the INPLTs helps companies overcome common, critical barriers to adopting energy management practices and technologies.
This overview of the Better Plants INPLTs provides information on the In-Plant training process, training topics, and savings opportunities for industrial partners.

NEW: Virtual In-Plants (VINPLTs)
With the social distancing challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Better Plants team piloted a cohort of Virtual In-Plant Trainings (VINPLTs) at the end of 2020 as a means of continuing these interactive training workshops. After piloting two very successful sessions on Industrial Refrigeration and Wastewater Treatment operations, Better Plants and Oak Ridge National Lab decided to expand VINPLT offerings in 2021.
