In the past year, the Better Buildings Challenge gained 35 new partners representing the industrial, K-12 schools, financing, multifamily, commercial real estate, university and hospitality sectors. These partners are committed to 20 percent of greater energy improvements across their entire portfolio of buildings and facilities and will be working with the Energy Department to discover and share cost-effective and proven solutions to cut energy wasted by the places we live our daily lives.
