Compared with conventional packaged rooftop units (RTUs), high efficiency next-generation RTUs are estimated to reduce energy costs by up to 50%. From 2024 through 2027, the Commercial Building HVAC Accelerator will work with stakeholders, from commercial building owners and operators to manufacturers, to accelerate the development and adoption of next-generation RTUs to achieve energy efficient and cost-effective solutions for buildings. The Accelerator was developed in partnership with manufacturing and commercial partners, as well as DOE's National Labs. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the full list of active partners.
