Available now through June 2019 – Are you already using ISO 50001 and want details on changes in the 2018 version? Take this two-hour course with knowledge checks, Update on ISO 50001:2018 Training, to define the next steps to update your energy management system. Offered by Georgia Tech’s Professional Education program, this training is useful to staff in companies using energy management and auditors, as well as practitioners assisting organizations with energy management, such as the 50001 Certified Practitioners in Energy Management. Register two or more people from your organization and Georgia Tech offers a 10% group discount.

October 17–19, 2018—Join DOE’s sessions at the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC). The conference includes a full track for the Better Plants Program, which features presentations and discussions on DOE tools and resources, the power of partnerships, and managing energy and resources. Speakers from several organizations participating in 50001 Ready and SEP are featured. Also, don’t miss the Exhibit Hall Workshop where DOE will demonstrate the 50001 Ready Navigator—and the presentation on "ISO 50001 and Smart Tech" in the Industrial Energy Management track.

November 28, 2018—Join the next 50001 Ready Utility Network Series webinar. In November, DOE will share updates and provide an overview and demonstration of new features in the 50001 Ready Navigator tool for utilities and implementers, such as a playbook, a useful offline resource to complete the Navigator tasks, and functionality to manage a cohort of customers implementing ISO 50001. December 3-6, 2018 – Auditors who want to expand their expertise to ISO 50001 have training opportunities available in late 2018 through ISO 50001 Lead Auditor Classroom Training, offered through Georgia Tech’s Professional Education program. This training prepares professionals for the certification exam.
